Christen Schilling

Christen Schilling is a Mental Health Counselor with a Limited Permit. She graduated from Liberty University with a Master’s of Clinical Mental Health Counseling as a member of Omega Nu Lambda, National Honor Society for Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Christen graduated with her bachelor’s degree in science from NYIT as a member of PSI CHI, National Honor Society for psychology in 2005. She has 12 years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse fields. More recently, she was Program Supervisor of a community residence and apartment treatment sites housing people with severe mental illnesses and has spent many years working as a Care Management Coordinator for adults and children with physical disabilities, mental health concerns, substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities. Her motivation is derived from making your past difficulties into your greatest resources through the use of unconditional positive regard.
