Mr. Richard Scheinberg founded Sunrise Counseling Center in 1993 after years of private practice with individuals, couples, and families. Sunrise Counseling Center was born out of a need for accessible mental health services within the Long Island area. Sunrise has continued to serve and be a beacon of light for our community over the 30+ years of operation.
